This property was a tired 1970’s semi with dated decor and small rooms, unsuitable for modern family living. Due to its topography, the garden was relatively inaccessible and didn’t feel like part of the house. Due to the client’s limited budget, extending was not an option and so we had to think creatively to maximise this property’s potential.
Our solution was to open up the rear of the property to provide that much sought after open-plan space. The introduction of glass doors to a rear decked area and steps to a fully landscaped garden now makes the garden a part of the house itself and a real feature of the property.
“New Space Architecture were simply amazing. We were really concerned about the glass doors at the rear due to cost but they really pushed us to trust them and we are so glad we did as we still came in within budget! We are absolutely delighted with the finished product and are so grateful for the creativity injected in to our property.” – Estelle H
